Genesis Plastics Welding, a Fortville-based contract manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Roeder as production manager to oversee the day-to-day production requirements of Genesis’ ISO 13485 and FDA registered contract manufacturing facility. Roeder brings to Genesis 31 years of manufacturing, engineering and production experience.

Roeder, a goal-driven Six Sigma Black Belt, holds a mechanical engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Additionally, he attended Carnegie-Mellon University for work on a master’s in mechanical engineering. In his management role with Genesis, Roeder will work closely with engineering, quality and sales to meet and exceed customers’ expectations for delivery of quality medical device, military and consumer goods.
Prior to joining Genesis, Roeder worked in management and engineering support roles for global OEMs with a focus in mission critical devices and diversified technology. A resident of Greenwood, Roeder enjoys volunteering and mentoring within the local high school’s robotics program.
