Throwback posts are certainly fun and sometimes they can be a little sentimental too. The kind Skip Kuker, executive director of the Hancock Economic Development Council came across this newspaper clipping this week in one of the HEDC’s filing cabinets. It’s an oldie but a goodie and we are so glad he sent it our way.

The years have certainly flown by haven’t they? Twenty-two short years ago Genesis Plastics Welding relocated from Indianapolis to the small, quaint town of Fortville, Indiana. As an organization, it’s one of our best decisions. Being nestled in the heart of Indiana and Hancock County has allowed for continued growth, a ready workforce and a community that we are proud to be actively involved within.
Over the course of the years we’ve positively affected our local economy with jobs, expanded our facility, become ISO 13485 certified, served the medical device and military markets with contract manufacturing of innovative devices, been named an Indiana Company to Watch, and actively advocated for manufacturing and life sciences within our state. It’s been a phenomenal ride so far and we can’t wait to see what the next 22 years bring our way.
