Genesis Plastics Welding, a Fortville-based contract manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of Brad Spencer as sales engineer to support company growth across the medical device, military and consumer goods industries. Spencer is responsible for guiding prospective customers through the manufacturing process of taking a product from concept to prototype to commercialization by developing cost-effective solutions that meet their business goals.
“Collaborating with customers to offer them RF welding and heat sealing solutions that quickly and efficiently take them through the manufacturing continuum to production is an important part of what makes Genesis successful,” says Tom Ryder, CEO and president of Genesis Plastics Welding. “Brad has a proven track record of using his technical experience and customer service skills to ensure client retention. He will play a key part in continuing to build strong relationships.”
Spencer is SOLIDWORKS certified and has eight years of experience in the contract manufacturing of thermoplastic devices and components. He has produced more than 1,500 custom designed solutions to solve everyday issues pertaining to OEMs. Spencer will coordinate with Genesis’ engineering, quality and operations departments to provide accurate and timely quotes, drawings and prototypes in order to ensure efficient production.
Prior to his work at Genesis, Spencer was a design engineer and program manager for a plastics manufacturer specializing in the automotive industry. He graduated from Lincoln College of Technology with a degree in mechanical drafting and engineering. Spencer currently resides in Westfield, where he spends his free time working on cars, watching sports and enjoying time with his young son.
