At Genesis Plastics Welding we have always believed in operating in a way that improves the quality of life for our employees and the community around us. Along those same lines, we strongly believe in sourcing raw materials within our own “backyard” when able.

By sourcing locally, we are helping businesses around us remain competitive, contributing to the local economy and reducing our transport-related environmental footprint. Additionally, sourcing locally for services and components allows us to play an active role in helping sustain and evolve the economic landscape of our state in regards to job retention and job growth.

We challenge our industry friends to revisit their sourcing protocols in the New Year and before looking out, look inward and discover if the services or components you seek are available within your own home state. Sourcing locally in many cases can be great value and allow for close collaboration between client and supplier.

We’ve always been team players and we believe that extends to our sourcing strategies as well. Sourcing sustainably is socially responsible and the right thing to do. It just makes sense.
