This month we celebrated a key Genesis Plastics Welding employee who has been one of the biggest proponents of our team over the years. Some of our largest customers have affectionately called her ‘The Queen of Making It Happen’ and ‘Superwoman,‘ and we happen to agree!
She has been a critical footing to our Genesis Plastics Welding foundation, and a key element to how we have made it to where we are today as a leading RF welding contract manufacturer. We will forever be grateful for her contributions.
This Queen of Making It Happen and Superwoman is the one and only Donna Burns. For over 12 years she has been a central part of the Genesis Plastics Welding team, serving over a decade as production manager and then in the last year as a special projects team member.
We wish her only the best in retirement! We know she is oh so ready to relax a little at home, spend quality time with her grandbabies and hit the road with her beloved Dennis Burns in their RV for new adventures.
Donna, there really isn’t another like you! You’re a treasure of an employee, and you will be missed greatly. How many companies have current, much the less retired, employees that are so dedicated that they bring their own camper to watch over the annual Pay It Forward Yard Sale event the night before and the night of the sale? We can’t think of another.
We wish you and Dennis only the best in your retirement years.
Thank-you to Fox Gardin Kitchen & Ale in Fortville for allowing us to takeover for a fun retirement celebration for the Burns! It was a fantastic evening of camaraderie for our team.
