A provider of contract manufacturing, development and engineering of radio frequency (RF) welded products, Genesis Plastics Welding is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Walsh as Product and Process Development Engineer to assist clients in the R&D and prototyping process. Prior to joining Genesis, Walsh worked as a design engineer for Biomass Engineering and Equipment.
We continue to expand our R&D services at the request of clients who seek concept-to-commercialization production,” says Tom Ryder, CEO and president of Genesis Plastics Welding. “Kevin will focus on prototyping as well as designing production processes for new products and tooling.”
Walsh graduated in Jaunuary 2012 from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. where he successfully completed study in the school’s ABET Accredited Engineering Program. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Engineering with a special concentration in mechanical. His senior design project involved designing a solar water heating system to be use in a missionary complex in Nairobi, Kenya. As a student at Olivet, Walsh participated in both Habitat for Humanity and a mission trip to Santa Barbara, Honduras.
