We’re One of the Industry’s Most Experienced RF Plastics Welding and Heat Sealing Contract Manufacturers
With more than 30 years of experience, Genesis is one of the industry’s most respected contract RF plastics welding and RF plastics heat sealing manufacturers. Centrally located in the heart of the Midwest (just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana), we offer a distinct logistical advantage. We specialize in the art and science of RF heat sealing and welding of thermoplastics of all types (both polar and non-polar).
RF Plastics Welding and Heat Sealing Service Options
We deliver our RF plastics welding and heat sealing services through two options. We can either serve as your RF plastics welding and heat sealing contract manufacturer or you can license our proprietary RF plastics welding and heat treating technology, ecoGenesis. As your contract manufacturer, we would leverage our 25,000 square foot cutting-edge production facility, team of experienced engineers and 18 RF plastics welding systems to meet your technical, quality and volume specifications. We’re able to weld surfaces up to 83″ x 38″ on RF equipment utilizing turn tables, in-line indexing, and single and double shuttle trays.
The Truth About RF Plastics Welding and Heat Sealing
Over the years, we’ve discovered and debunked common misconceptions about RF plastics heat sealing and welding:
MISCONCEPTION: Only polar polymers like PVC and Polyurethane can be RF welded.
REALITY: Any RF machine equipped with the ecoGenesis Plastics Welding Technology is capable of welding polar and non-polar plastics alike. This includes very low-cost, “green” and high performance materials.
MISCONCEPTION: RF machines cannot weld materials thinner than .0055″.
REALITY: ecoGenesis allows RF machines to weld materials as thin as .00025″.
MISCONCEPTION: The only way to RF weld non-polar plastics is with a buffer system.
REALITY: Instead of a buffer, ecoGenesis incorporates a unique durable mechanical catalyst that makes RF energy visible to non-polar materials and weldable in a number of substrates, including film, foam, wovens, non-wovens and more. No costly additives are required.
