Indiana Product Development Engineer Manager Job Opening

Genesis Plastics Welding is hiring for a Product Development Engineer Manager at our Indianapolis-area headquarters, in Fortville, Indiana.

The product development engineer manager will have oversight and participation in product development activities for new and existing Genesis clients.  Critical departments supported by engineering include quality, sales, production and operations. This person will manage the engineering team and fully participate in the following areas of responsibility:

• Product Development
• Product Launch
• Product/Process Improvement
• Material Management and Evaluation
• ecoGenesis Management

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

• Medical Device Manufacturing
• Contract Manufacturing
• Plastics Knowledge
• RF Welding
• Project Management (PMP Certification or equivalent)
• AutoCAD
• Product Development
  • Material and Component Sourcing
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Manufacturing Process Development/Design
  • Prototyping

• Product Launch/Validation
